From her birthplace in Nigeria to a small flat in London, and ultimately to the United States, Joy's love for fashion followed her across the globe as she established herself as a model. Joy founded Kingsley Models in 2017 and in just a few short years, Kingsley Models has quickly established itself as one of the premier talent agencies in the Washington, DC and Mid-Atlantic region. Their talent has graced the pages of British Vogue, Elle Bulgaria, Washington Life, DC Modern Luxury, Monarch Magazine, and many others. Furthermore, their talent had the unique opportunity to partner on national ad campaigns with companies including; Olympus, The Ritz-Carlton, Hilton, Capital One, Grand Marnier, American Airlines, The St. James, and more.

 

In addition to being the CEO of Kingsley Models, Joy is an accomplished wardrobe stylist based in Washington, DC.  She has worked with a diverse range of celebrities, including Dapper Dan, Master P, Salli Richardson-Whitfield and journalist Margaret Brennan, and Soledad O’Brien as well as pro athletes and teams such as John Wall, the Wizards and the Mystics. With over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, Joy has built an impressive reputation for herself, traveling the globe to explore and gain inspiration from different cultures.  Prior to becoming a wardrobe stylist, Joy was also a successful professional volleyball player in Vught, Holland, and her skills on the court have undoubtedly translated to her successful career in fashion. Her work as a fashion contributor for ABC 7, FOX 5, and WUSA 9, as well as her role as a Fashion Editor for Monarch Magazine, have enabled her to share her expertise with a wide audience.
